In Science we have been investigating electricity. We have been talking about how electricity flows around a circuit and what happens to the electricity if the circuit is broken.
1. What would happen to the light bulb if we placed a plastic ruler into the circuit? Why?
2. What would happen to the light bulb if we placed a metal knife into the circuit? Why?
1.If you put a plastic ruler the light bulb is not going to light up

2.If you put a metal knife thE light bulb will light up beacuse metal let's the eltrons pass thought
so the metal knife is a conductor.
If we want some light we need a light bulb, switch, buttery and wires.

Deletefor starters 1. if you put a rubber and try to connect it to the circuit the light bulb would not light up and if you did it with a metal knife it would light up

ReplyDeleteif you put a plastic ruler into the circuit the light wouldn't work because plastic is an insulator and wont let electricity pass through and this would be an open circuit.By putting the metal knife in the circuit would make the light turn on because metal is an conductor and allow electricity to pass through making it a closed circuit
