I can't wait until we go to the farm Spitafields on Monday the 7th of october because it's MY BIRTHDAY, i am really looking forward to it. Hopefully my great mum will be able to come. comment on this please.
Hello Mr Highman,I really like our year group's blog.It is really really intresting an fasinating. I think I will go on this all the time. I also like that you chose other stuff for the blog and not just what we were working on.It looks lovely. It looks really cool and i hope you love it as much as i do. Goodbye Mr Highman.
Hi chineme its emmanuel and I like the ativetys that we do at school and I love learning things that I didn't know about. Like in the olden days they milk cows by hand.
I am glad that you are enjoying our blog Hanson. Don't forget to go back to the home page and read some of the posts about Hansel and Gretel. Read the questions carefully and leave then leave a comment.
I will be putting some more pictures up this weekend Jerome. Keep checking back. Now go back and see if you can comment on some of the posts on the home page.
I LIKE maths because its fun and you can even use different METHODS for example 5+5=10,5+3=8,5+2=7 you can even count up with these numbers.!!! What does approval mean???
It means if you are sensible and 'real' about something, for example it is realistic that you can be a doctor was it isn't realistic that you will grow wings and be able to fly. Does that make sense?
Consented means that you agree. Valentina's mum consented for Valentina to go on the school trip is the same as Valentina's mum agreed for Valentina to go on the school trip.
mr highman how did you come up with this amazing blog it is wonderful one day can you teach the class how to make their own blog. its good that you have a blog so we can get in contact with you everyday even when you have gone out
We are planning to teach some blogging workshops soon Aaliyah. I am so glad that you like the blog and yes you can post anytime and myself or Miss Collins will reply!
Gretel was crying bitterly the night before she was due to be taken into the forest. This means she was crying because she felt resentful and angry with the step-mum because she felt like her and hansel didn't deserve to be sent away.
There are a number of reasons why interesting words are important and where you need to use them Tomisin, here are just a few examples:
1) Describing words help give enough detail which helps the person reading your work to understand it - they can imagine it what you are writing!
2) To get a 3c, you need to use interesting words other than ‘and’ and ‘but’ to join your sentences or ideas together.
3) You must try and keep your writing interesting throughout your work, right to the very end!
4) To get to a 3b you need to begin your sentences in a number of interesting ways, so it's not JUST about using exciting words in the middle of a sentence, they need to come at the beginning too!
5) People don't want to read boring writing, would you read a boring book? So therefore, make sure that your writing is interesting and exciting so that people will want to read it.
Our assembly is in November sometime, I'll check the date on Monday. In fact we have 2 assemblies already booked in! I think miss lawrence must like our assemblies :)
This blog is the best blog ever because if you are sick or at the weekends and you don't know what to do you can go on the blog and feed the fish or to make a comment about how you like school. Also you can comment when your mum or dad won't help you at all like for instens if you don't know how to spell because you can comment and if your friend are on the blog they can comment.

The other day i had the pleasure to encounter the some of the year 3 children of HillMead Primary returning to school after having been on an day trip to learn about the 1666 Great fire of London on the no 35 bus, i was quite amused when one child explaining what she had understood about their trip along with her teacher describing the person who was thought responsible for the fire who's surname she couldn't remember whom was a baker and also named Bill quite creatively should be identified as "Baker Bill" she then went on to recount accurately the historical facts of the fire which i was very impressed with, i wish all the children the very best for a bright future, and congratulate the teaching staff on a job well done.
I love this school especially when mr highman says funny thing like last time when amisha was talking and he couldn't here her so he said something funny instead
